Current Class Offerings

Open Studio 

• Open Studio is a class designed to allow folks who have taken either at least my Ceramics 1 class at Hancock or both a Throwing and Hand-building class at Dragonstone Studio to continue to work with mostly self-direction.  

• Students may create work in a self-directed environment with a studio assistant for help when needed.

• For lessons or more directed instruction, please consider one of the Throwing or Hand-building classes.  

• Open Studio is $75 per month, or 20 hours. Unused hours may be carried forward.  

Hand-building Ceramics 1  

• This is the first in a series of beginner classes for those wanting to learn how to make ceramic projects without using a potter’s wheel.  

• You will be provided with enough clay, tools, and instruction to make 4 projects. A plate, bowl, cup or mug, and a platter. Glazes and firing are included in the class fee.  

• If you would like to make more items, you may purchase additional clay for $30.00 for a 25# bag. 

• Class is $125.00 per person. Class Limit 8
